Privacy policy

Digital Brands Limited (trading as Fixmycrib), located at

Digital Brands Limited
50 Athol Street,
Douglas, Isle of Man
IM1 1JB

is responsible for the processing of personal data as set out in this privacy policy.

Personal data we process

Fixmycrib processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself.

Tailored quotes can only be prepared when we have a minimum amount of personal data. Specialists need this data to provide a quote that fully matches your situation. If you use Fixmycrib or any of its other services, we assume that you understand this and consent to the processing of your personal data.

Special and/or sensitive personal data we process

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are under 16 years of age, unless they have permission from their parents or guardian. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is over 16. For this reason, we encourage parents to be involved in their children's online activities, to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you believe that we have collected personal data about a minor without that consent, please contact us and we will delete this information.

Automated decision-making

Digital Brands Limited does take decisions based on automated processing on matters that may have (significant) consequences for individuals. These are decisions taken by computer programs or systems without the involvement of a person (for example, an employee of Digital Brands Limited).

Why Fixmycrib uses automated decision-making

Fixmycrib has developed its own system that matches your quote request with the right professionals. The match made by the system is a proposed match based on the information you entered in the form. This proposal is always checked afterwards by a Fixmycrib employee before the quote request is actually sent to the companies.

Underlying logic

To propose the best possible match for a product or service, the system uses the address details you entered. Based on the distance between your home and the company, companies are proposed that could handle the quote request. This allows Fixmycrib to put you in touch with companies in your area.

Importance

An automated system is necessary because manually searching for the right companies would be very time-consuming given the number of requests we process every day. As a result of the automated system, Fixmycrib can put you in touch with companies faster, so you also receive your quotes sooner.

How long we keep personal data

Fixmycrib does not keep your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected.

However, because it is difficult for Fixmycrib to determine when the service ends, we give you, as a user, complete freedom to decide for yourself how long Fixmycrib keeps your data.

Sharing personal data with third parties

Fixmycrib shares your personal data with various third parties if this is necessary for the performance of the agreement and to comply with any legal obligation. In practice, this means that we will share personal data with a maximum of five specialists (companies) who can send you a free quote.

Companies affiliated with Fixmycrib are bound by our terms and conditions, which oblige them to handle the personal data they receive from you via Fixmycrib with care, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Fixmycrib remains responsible for this processing. In addition, Fixmycrib provides your personal data to other third parties only with your explicit consent.

How we protect personal data

Fixmycrib takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification.

Our UK partner

When you post a job for a UK address, your job details and contact details (name, email address, phone number and postcode) are passed to our UK partner, MyJobQuote (myjobquote.co.uk), so that it can arrange quotes from vetted local tradespeople and may pass your request on to tradespeople in its network. The partner is responsible for its own use of your data; see its privacy policy and terms and conditions. We work with similar partners in other countries; each is named when you submit a request there.

Terms of use

Last updated: 23 October 2026

These terms apply between you and Digital Brands Limited (trading as Fixmycrib), 50 Athol Street, Douglas, Isle of Man IM1 1JB, when you use fixmycrib.co and post a job through our UK job form. By ticking the box and submitting the form you agree to them.

1. What Fixmycrib does

Fixmycrib is a free service that helps UK homeowners find tradespeople. You describe your job once on our form. We pass your request to our UK partner, which arranges quotes from vetted local tradespeople. Fixmycrib does not carry out the work itself, and it is not a party to any contract between you and a tradesperson.

2. Our UK partner

In the UK, quotes are arranged by our partner, MyJobQuote (myjobquote.co.uk). When you submit the form your job details and contact details are passed to them so they can match you with tradespeople. Their service is also subject to their own partner terms and conditions, which we recommend you read. If the two sets of terms differ for a matter that concerns the partner's service, the partner's terms apply to that service.

3. Using the service

  • The service is for UK homes only. Please give a valid UK postcode.
  • Information you give must be accurate and be about your own property or a property you are authorised to arrange work for.
  • Submitting a request is free and carries no obligation to hire anyone. Any agreement for work is made directly between you and the tradesperson.
  • You may be contacted by phone, email or text about your request. You can ask to stop at any time.

4. Quotes and tradespeople

Prices and availability come from the tradespeople. We do not guarantee that you will receive a certain number of quotes, response times, or the quality of any work. Please check insurance, accreditations and references, and always get a written quote before work starts.

5. Liability

We take care to keep the information on this site accurate, but we cannot guarantee it is free of errors. To the extent the law allows, Fixmycrib is not liable for losses arising from work carried out by tradespeople or from the content of this site. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

6. Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time; the date above shows the latest version. Questions? Use our contact page. The privacy policy above explains how we handle your data.
